Wind
Turbine I is located at the northern most point of Hull,
Massachusetts. This windmill is one of two major turbines in the
town of Hull. Both of which can be seen on this webcam. This sustainable energy source helps light Hull's
streets at night as well as provide electricity to many homes in
the town. The webcam was installed so the wind turbines and the
surrounding area could be viewed by the general public.
How
to use the webcam: Follow the directions below. You must
use Internet Explorer to see the camera.
To
sign in:
You will need to sign in to view the camera.
USERNAME: pemberton (all
small letters)
PASSWORD: windmill (all small
letters)
Click the box to remember
password (optional)
You
will be asked to download a very small program that allows the
user to control the webcam.
Click Yes or Ok when prompted
You
will also have to click download activex on the yellow internet
security bar when it pops up.
You
will also get this message

Click Ok.
The
webcam will run at different speeds on different computers and
internet providers. Be patient and allow the camera to catch up to
your commands. If someone else is controlling the camera, wait
until they stop to start controlling on your own. Hit the home
icon on the controller to start the camera at a pre-determined in
focus position to make sure you have a good picture.
